Many families across Northwest Indiana face food insecurity everyday. In addition, many of these families struggle with homelessness. As a community, we must work together to support our local families and fight food insecurity.

NWI No Child Hungry is a local organization that operates with volunteers and relies on donations to provide meals to food-insecure children in local schools. Currently, we serve portions of Lake and Porter Counties. We provide Buddy Bags – child friendly, shelf-stable sacks of food – intended to offset hunger on the weekends. This lets each child go home, knowing that they have access to a more stable food supply.
