WHy do we host

LOCAL EVENTS?

Because our program is at no cost to the local schools and families, we rely on donations to provide the food for each of our Buddy Bags. A large portion of our funding comes from our community events, such as the ones you see featured on this page.

Our organization is run entirely by volunteers, which means all proceeds from these events go directly into our program. The more tickets we sell, the more Buddy Bags we can create to help Northwest Indiana children who struggle with food access and homelessness.

Year after year, we have been fortunate to receive excellent community involvement at our fundraising events. We look forward to seeing you and raising the funds necessary to keep our program going so that more children can feel secure, happy, and healthy every week!
